"For a first timer visiting Busan, the hotel is right in the middle of the old town centre and surrounded by markets, both touristy (Jagalchi) and several local market. There is also a lively night market scene, which the hotel is a block away from (so not noisy). Food choices are many and varied, and an easy walk to Lotte Dept store if that's what you want.
The spa was decent, although you need to bring your own toiletries, and it was the first time I've experienced a salt water hot bath.
The hotel is not really a place to lounge around in, as there are no facilities such as restaurant of cafe on-site, but there are plenty around. It's also some distance from Haeundae beach, so might be an idea to stay closer to that area if you are visiting attractions there, as it's at least 40 minutes by taxi in non-busy times."
