「I’ve spent three nights at goalie. It was a nice stay, the facilities are clean and the pool is really nice. Room was spacious with a balcony and nice shower. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. 」

「Beautiful room and location - this guesthouse only features 1 bedroom (a minute walk away from the host's house) and is quite isolated. Perfect to spend time in silence, reading or meditating. There are a few guesthouses a couple of minutes walk and it is literally 5 minute walk from one of the entrances to the national park. The host is wonderful and is a guide himself, - his wife cooks great meals (recommended the vibe rice option).」

She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! 「One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at (and we travel a lot!). Definitely recommend the room with the private plunge pool (which includes your own personal butler). INCREDIBLE view to wake up to in the morning and you won't regret it! Also the restaurant is so good, we ate every single meal there and couldn't get enough of the food. They made excellent local Sri Lankan dishes with so much flavor and spa. Spa services were also excellent! We will definitely be coming back!」

This was a perfect for our multi-generational family with space and facilities for everyone. The beds were so comfortable and the daily cleaning staff were brilliant. 「The road to Rainforest edge is not good - and you can miss it. It's only partly tarmac, and that pitted. It's uphill, winding, and goes through a tea factory. But when you get there... It's like a medieval castle: great boulders below, tiled roofs above, and an infinity pool looking out over the mountains. 「Television was down. They had to replace a new one after inspection. It took a while to complete this. Our room was too close to the kitchen. The noise was transferred through the venting system. That needs to be improved.」

「Our little family had an amazing stay at Riff. The beach is beautiful, rooms are good (the cleaning of the rooms is super!), food is delicious! You can hear the waves from the ocean which is so nice to fall asleep to. You can go see the turtles and Turtle beach (5 minute Tuk Tuk), and snorkling. The staff is incredible and our 7 month baby Charlie was so well taken care off (they even fixed food for her!).
