I was staying here whilst visiting family and was very happy with what I found. A lovely welcome from the owner who was very informative. Rooms were comfortable and more importantly clean. Thank you so much for a great stay
Host was very welcoming, then you are left alone with own entrance to property which is fantastic.
The decor is just as you would expect from a budget guesthouse but everything is spotlessly clean.
They have everything you need for a low cost and comfortable stay.
A very comfortable stay, nice room and friendly staff, the hot chocolate and biscuits was a definite plus

I was pleasantly surprised how lovely the room was, clean and newly decorated with a sink, coffee/tea etc, tv, comfy bed with extra bedding if required. Quiet area, close to seafront and train station. An added bonus was the communal fridge and microwave which were very useful. If I return to the area would definitely stay again.
We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The staff were welcoming, the bedroom had everything you needed including fleece blankets for the chillier night! Refill station to replaces soaps, teas etc was a nice touch. Just lots of small extra touches that made it feel more welcoming. No breakfast but theres a fridge and microwave and a few nice cafes nearby (the seahorse) Would definitely recommend!
Absolutely wonderful place. Very comfortable room, toiletries is bathroom, all the tea, coffee and hot chocolate you want. Great sized TV as well as desk and comfy chair.
Beautifully decorated.
Fridge, microwave, plates etc. in downstairs hall as well as extra
sugar, tea etc. Lots of parking.
Absolutely loved it. Handy for beach , fish and chip shops, ice cream etc. 10 minutes drive to Hartlepool. Excellent.
I stay in hotels, b&bs pubs etc all year.
For someone who travels for a living im always looking for a decent and cheap place to stay.
This place exceeded my expectations for what i paid.
The room was comfortable, clean and warm.
The owners were friendly and allowed me to book in early.
Its a standard room, however, its the little things that matter.
Let me explain.
Most places i stay have a very basic check in and very little information when you get to the room.
What annoys me is connecting to wifi with ridiculous passwords, this place has made it so very easy.
Running out of coffee, tea or sugar then having to go to reception to ask for more, this place has solved that problem by providing extras downstairs where there is a fridge, microwave, plates, bowls etc.
The owners have thought of everything, even down to the bathroom, ran out of shampoo or shower gel?.
They have it covered.
A wonderful place to stay and obviously i will be staying again.
By the way, the non slip showers, bloody fantastic.
