We booked this hotel for college drop off at James Madison University and is very convenient as it’s only 10 minutes or less away from campus and off campus housing. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Went to front desk about no hot water . They said someone was coming to fix it . They never came. When i went back to inquire was told they were not coming because of the weekend and they never offered to kove me to another room .

The bathroom was atrocious! it was so disgusting, like it had not been washed for a long time. The manager when i complained said it was just stained....NO...it was DIRTY and stained from not being washed. i have never seen a hotel bathroom this dirty... I was completely unimpressed by the hotel as a whole. It felt like an upscale motel ugh! it was dark and dingy looking. Go to the Hyatt Place across the street, you'll pay about $50 more but totally worth it. I have stayed there before and it is excellent!!!! if you want a hilton go to the Tru By Hilton. Steer clear if this one.

Bathroom was unacceptable. Door lock was broken and there was no sink stopper. I called and complained right away as we enteredcthe room but there were other guets already fighting in the lobby withbth frint desk as the hotel.was over booked and there room they were a lotted already had someone else in. They actually walked in into a moon with people in when they walked in the room. I felt bad for the front person and explained her the situation,she assured someone will fix it next morning. Sure enough no one came next day or called, end of the day my earning fell in the sink and aa there was no sink stopper, I lost it. I called front desk and this time it was different front desk person, Julia I believe her name was, she was simply unprofessional. She said she can't do anything about it and she's leaving soon and will let the night person know. She was not polite and uncourteous. I asked for manager, she said her manager was unavailable and her name was Margarita. I asked her to leave message for have her call me next morning. Again next morning no one called. I called front desk, was told there was no information about the issues and the manager was not in. We were checking out that day. At this point I didn't have much choice. This was a horrible experience and not at all a Hilton Double Tree standard. I have taken pictures of everything

Well for the lightning alone in this room,I would NEVER stay again, I mean 1 little very dim light in bathroom my husband couldnt even see to do his hair and rest of the room dark and gloomy ,sorry i couldnt give a better review..

This motel was amazing. This staff was so friendly and helpful. It was an unplanned stay due to my car breaking down but the staff took a lot of stress off of me just for being so friendly.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was helpful and prompt, and the courtyard area inside is interesting. I know this is just a corporate policy, but I really wish there were an option for free breakfast, or that breakfast was cheaper. It was $15 per adult, which was just too much for wanting to grab a bite before heading out.

I paid extra with no free breakfast to stay at a hotel with a restaurant n bar. I get there after driving all day looking forward to a drink n a meal to find out the restaurant n bar are closed that day. It was a friday at 5 pm!. The clerk was not the friendliest. When i checked out the clerk in the morning was accetional. She apologized for not having bar n restaurant openned the night before n comp me breakfast
