Wyndham Hotel – Barbados
My experience at the Wyndham in Barbados was awful from start to finish. I booked a stay from July 2 to July 5, but I was forced to check out early on July 4 due to unsafe and unacceptable conditions.
The first room had wet floors, poor air quality, and a strong mold odor, making it completely unlivable. I requested to be moved, and the second room had no functioning locks on the doors, which raised serious safety concerns. At that point, I had to request a third room, which still had air quality issues and a musty smell.
In total, I was moved three times, and none of the rooms met basic health or safety standards. On top of that, the listing was false advertising — there is no direct or usable beach access, which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel.
I spoke with Manager Shanice and the night manager, who were both made aware of the situation, but no solutions were offered beyond the repeated room changes.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I do not recommend this property to anyone. Expedia should review this listing immediately.
