"Literally used it as a bed for the night and a shower! Not in the hotel much, only stayed one night. However, it was lovely. Very clean, staff friendly and helpful, easy to check in and out. Good location, parked at the train station and walked from there. Did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. Would recommend, and stay there again.Thank you."

"The “hotel” is really a series of separate buildings spread out across a large site. There is no central location to meet for drinks/ coffee. The only restaurant is at the top of a hill (accessed by steep stairways/roads ). There appeared to be some golf buggies but it was not clear how these could be accessed. The restaurant was large and cafeteria-like, lacking in atmosphere. There was a restricted menu; no room service available (you have to collect your meal) and I was told at 4.15 that they stopped serving afternoon tea at 4pm ( which is exactly when most people would want it). The room was clean and well decorated but it was very dimly lit and had minimal toiletries ( no shower cap/tissues). At just over £200 a night for a standard double room it was not great value."

"Great spot for a stag do. The location couldn’t have been better, easy access to everything we needed. Breakfast had a solid selection, which definitely helped after a big night. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay for a group trip."

"The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is great. It's far enough away from town centre to be nice and quiet but still easy walking distance to everything. The pub next door was really good with a great choice of real ales."

"The staff were friendly and the amenities including the pool were great. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were so unsupported meaning it was difficult to sleep each night. Also, during breakfast the drinks and some foods were always empty meaning you’d have to ask and wait for contents to be refilled/ replenished. There was also a private event going on which meant the bar inside the hotel couldn’t be used."
