This Hotel and the attempt to get a refund was the single most terrible travel experience I have ever had. I don't ever complain with reviews.
BUT. This hotel was so bad that we searched for a new hotel as soon as we checked in and inspected our room.
I even paid extra on-site to get an "upgrade".
We didn't even unpack because we knew we had to get out of there.
Now, the rest of the hotel was dirty and ragged. The lift was disgusting. There were stains everywhere, cracks and scuffs. To say it was in poor condition, to say it was gross would be an understatement.
The button panel had these stains all over it. It was so dirty that I wanted to put gloves on before touching it.
The second we walked into the room, it felt like we walked into a jungle. It was hotter and more humid than outside the hotel (in Vietnam!).
So we turned the air-conditioning on. The control panel for the air-conditioner was brown from the grease or oil or whatever sort of stains those were. Again I wanted to wear gloves! The air-con was worse than a fan.
The bathroom was even more disgusting.Stains, grime, dust, hair. The tap was so disgusting we didn't even want to touch it to wash our hands.
We requested a refund, Expedia tried to negotiate for us.
The hotel refused. Expedia tried but failed and couldn't do anything about it. I was disappointed. But I appreciate that they tried. So now I have a bank dispute in progress.
DON'T STAY HERE. They lie to you with edited photos to steal your money. Thieves.
