It’s hard to fault this place. This hotel has one of the best locations in Hanoi: directly facing the lake, plus the best of both worlds between the Old Town and the French Quarter. On arrival, you are met with a very warm welcome. No queueing up at a reception desk here. The staff come to meet you. I didn’t see the other rooms, but the junior suite was excellent. Elegant decor, large comfortable bed, and a small balcony with a view of trees and the lake. No walk-in shower though; my room had a deep bathtub. Breakfast is served on the top floor restaurant, with a good array of buffet choices as well as food cooked to order. There’s a panoramic view of the city too. Finally, if you want to end your day with a cocktail, there’s a small but attractive roof terrace bar. You can’t go wrong with this hotel. Just book it.

Great Location and Hotel

Second time staying at this lovely, central hotel in the Old Quarter. Great location and close to restaurants, bars and shops. The room was very clean, spacious with great amenities. Breakfast is a buffet selection of local and European with several egg dish options to order. The Skybar is a great place to hang out at night with a wonderful view across the lake.

We had a marvellous time at this hotel! It was stunning, clean, and served excellent food and drinks. The service was perfect, we felt like celebrities! The staff were very attentive, and we would like to particularly thank Trang who ensured we had everything we required to make our stay special and complete. The spa was of a high standard, the treatments were very good and the staff really went out of their way to make sure we were relaxed. The location is perfect for exploring the area.

This is a great hotel with the perfect combination of location and quality. It is located at the edge of the old quarter so its near enough but a nice escape from the busyness old quarter. Staff here go above and beyond to help you with suggestions on things to do in the country and also with any special food or dietary requirements. Special mention for Nam who was very helpful. The staff really knows how to take care of their guests. From the time you arrive they receive you like VIP’s to the day you leave they cater to your every need. The amenities were great, the spa offered good packages, very clean and nicely set up. Cool rooftop bar. But the one thing I enjoyed the most was the amazing breakfast. I got so spoiled, it ruined my experience at the hotels I stayed after.
