Discover the beauty of List’s nature with a gentle stroll along the pathways that meander through the massive parkland of Eilenriede. It’s part of a network that includes 1,600 acres (640 hectares) of parkland, so you don’t need to venture far from List to experience tranquil leafy glades. Also known locally as the “Grüne Lunge,” meaning “green lung,” Eilenriede really does add a breath of fresh air to the busy city streets.
Rest your legs after your walk with a visit to the Lister Turm Biergarten. This authentic-style beer garden has a wide range of lagers to quench your thirst while you take in the view of the Lister Turm. The Lister Turm is a building dating from 1895 with many decorative features. The large tower is a copy of the original one dating from the 14th century. Say “prost” as you clink your beer glasses together and look back on a great day in List.
