"Location was perfect and room was clean"

"It was clean. Not in a great neighborhood. But many hotels near the airport seem to be the same rough neighborhood. Check in person was pleasant. "

"Rooms need work—appeared the door had been previously pried into, gaps along the doorway. There was also a large gap at the base of the door so when maintenance personnel was hosing down the walkways, water was spraying into our room at the base of the door. Sink was backing up so we relied on using the faucet from the bathtub. If you are on a budget then this is where to stay. Basically a bed, towels, and shampoo— that’s it. No hangers. TV, mini fridge and microwave were excellent! And staff is the best— thank you Eric, for a great stay! Also, great security for hotel guest parking!"

"I rarely write reviews, but this felt necessary. I’ve been coming to Hilton Squaw Peak Resort since I was a teenager, and it has always been a special place for my family. We loved the welcoming pool and fountain, easy parking, and the beautiful atmosphere of the resort. A family member even bought a townhouse nearby because we loved it so much. We stayed for two nights over spring break and were aware of renovations, but the online photos made it seem unchanged. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Our room had no number on the door, we initially walked past it thinking it was a mistake. While updated, it was next to a loud machine that hummed all night. Housekeeping also entered despite our “Do Not Disturb” sign. Basic amenities were missing: no extra blankets, hair dryer, or microwave. Parking was difficult due to construction. The main pool and fountain are gone, replaced with artificial turf and a pergola, which felt like a missed opportunity for a fun gathering space. They advertise seven pools and a renovated River Ranch, but the property felt dominated by construction and didn’t reflect that. For the price, this stay was very disappointing. During peak travel times, there should be better accommodations, clearer communication, or discounted rates. Many others have shared similar concerns, yet responses feel generic with no clear improvements made. "

"We checked into our room, and the door was wide open apparently to dry out a very wet carpet. The bathroom sliding door wouldn’t close, nor would the sliding glass window. It would have nice to have printed guidance for the tv, as we had to phone maintenance to reboot it. The staff was professional & attentive "

"To much noise inside and outside"

"My only complaint, and it is a minor one, was that the wait staff in the attached Garden restaurant were not very good about keeping an eye on customer needs. For example, at our final dinner there, my travelling companion accidentally knocked over his water glass and as a result, the table top was awash. We waited and waited for someone to NOTICE and assist with cleanup, but that never happened. Even when the hostess came and took our credit cards for payment, no attempt was made to even so much as wipe off the remaining water on the table top. That, in my mind, was very inconsiderate!"

"Nasty as hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Got in. One of the beds was unmade. There was pee in the toilet obviously food in the fridge from the previous person. Just like they gave me the room right after the next person left. If you were looking for a safe place, do not stay here. Somebody was asking me for cigarettes. Every time I watch out my Door or a lighter. This place is written with drug addict and criminals."
