This is a very small hotel with no more than 20 rooms (I guess) in a 1910 built elegant building. Street parking was busy but luckily I got one right in front of hotel entrance. Very quite and beautiful neighborhood.

The only trouble was finding it with the Sat Nav as it is a one-way street. Otherwise, parking was fine and the proximity to the city centre was great. A nice little hotel, but a disappointing breakfast.

Small hotel comfort

This small hotel is a gem right on a canal leading to the big lake, close to a very nice residential section of Hamburg. We spent a morning at a nearby museum, and had a great meal just down the street.

Outstanding Hotel

The hotel staff in this charming, clean, characteristic, hotel were amazing. they bent over backwards trying to accommodate my every need. I have already recommended this hotel to colleagues. The gardens are lovely. Breakfast was more than I anticipated and had a large choice for every palette. The hotel, dining room and especially my guest room were clean, spacious, well appointed. I would stay here again, the next time I'm in Hamburg.

God oplevelse men lidt langt fra shopping.

Hotellet er fint placeret tæt på Alster, men lidt langt fra selve midtbyen hvis man skal shoppe - man kan dog gå derind på ca. 20 min langs den smukke Alster. Værelset var lidt småt men ok størrelse hvis man bare skal overnatte, som de fleste jo skal. Alt i alt en god oplevelse, og servicen fra personalet var meget godt. De var ekstremt hjælpsomme og søde.

Es war schön hier Gast zu sein

Schönes Hotel in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. 100m von der Buslinie und 200m von der U-Bahn entfernt. Wir hatten erst gezögert ein paar Meter außerhalb des Zentrums zu buchen, wurden aber von der Ruhe und Schönheit der Zimmer und dem gepflegten Haus überzeugt. Tolle Betten führten zu einem ruhigen Schlaf. so gut habe ich in Hotels wohl nur selten geschlafen. Deshalb würde ich hier immer wieder buchen. Die positiven Bewertungen finden wir absolut zutreffend.

Gemütliches Hotel - klein aber fein

Schönes kleines Hotel für einen ruhigen Aufenthalt mit Hund. Von dort aus ist alles super schnell zu erreichen: Alster, Lange Reihe mit jede Menge Angebot an Restaurants und Cafes, Hbf, City etc. Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor der Türe. Das Zimmer war sehr nett eingerichtet mit neuem Bad. Frühstück war auch gut. Schade nur, dass der Hund dort nicht erwünscht war.

Gemeinsam ein gutes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, aber ziemlich weit vom Stadtzentrum. Das Hotel ist mehr wie ein "Bett und Frühstück" als ein Hotel. Das Zimmer ist ordentlich organisiert. Das Bad und die Dusche müssen renoviert werden. Frühstück ist begrenzt, aber in Ok.

Worth the stay.

I stayed here my first time 1967 meeting my father's family for the first time and this is the place they chose for us. We loved it than and I have been back several times since up to my last visit in 1990. We were so glad that we were able to stay there this time with my husband who loved it also. It still has the old world charm but it has been refreshed. The neighborhood is quiet but convenient to everything transportation wise or to just walk locally. The staff were super friendly and helpful and had recommended several very good restaurants that were walking distance and very good. The breakfast was a perfect way to start your day served in a classic breakfast room. For the price our room was charming with all we needed. The only thing because of being 50 years older the bed was a little to firm for my bones but all in all this will be our place to stay in Hamburg for years to come God willing.
