"I loved our cabin "the view". Amazing be to stay. eing out on the fjord from the room! I didn't want to leave! Lovely people at check-in, at breakfast and at the gastropub. Only minor comment would be the bathroom needed a better blind. Aurland is a fabulous peaceful place."

"Nice spacious rooms with kitchen and balcony. Kitchen was somewhat equipped but we had some unexpected issues. ten spoons and four knives but no forks at alll. Skillets but no spatulas. Beds are soft and lumpy. Several light bulbs were burned out. It takes a lot of time to request assistance since only two staff members are also handling the r bakery and coffee bar but were helpful when eventually available"

"Hesla Gård (Farm) is so charming. There has been great care in preserving the historic buildings, the lodging is clean and very comfortable, and the inn hosts are wonderful. Easy walk to town (10 min) and to local sites, such as the Gol Church, and to hiking trails. I look forward to my next visit! "

"Beautiful stay in bright large apartment. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything you need. We had a mountain view/view of ski slopes and it was beautiful with the large windows. You do need to bring your own towels and bedsheets (bedding itself provided) or you can rent them. All amenities like pool are at an additional cost. Easily walkable to town center, hiking trails and slopes though during ski season till mid April a ski bus takes you for free. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. "
