The staffs are very friendly, the room is very clean. Hotel location is convenient to walk around Hakodate. They also offer parking service for ¥500 per night just across from the hotel. Overall very nice stay!

We travelled with dog and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Convenient to go station or sightseeing places. Little choices for restaurants, but taking the tram 2-3 stops to the station you will have more options.

The staff was really friendly and helpful :) Room was also spacious which I appreciated after living in tiny rooms in hotels in Tokyo.... You do need to take the tram to get to the hotel (or rather it's about 20mins walk from Hakodate station and you'll pass by the residential area). Overall it was a good experience especially for the price!

The staffs are very polite and super nice. The room is big and comfortable but the bath room is very small. Location is so and so as the surrounding is a bit too quiet and a bit dark.

Quick respond. Always provide good service to us. The room is big and comfortable. Facility is more than enough for living. Closed to the train station. Few minutes walk can reach the famous sight-seeing places and JR station. We should reserve this hotel again in the next trip.

We had a very pleasant stay. The lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Communication in English language was very easy and we liked that the hotel had prepared some information material in English. The rooms were a bit dated but totally clean. The hotel is located near a tram stop which is very convenient and even the train station is within walking distance. At night the surrounding area is very quiet. No restaurants around but there are some convenience stores. The rooftop area is amazing!

The incredibly warm hotel in Hakodate.

I had a great experience staying at Gran Palette Hakodate. I arrived on a day when a fierce storm was raging. Although the walk from the tram stop to the hotel wasn’t far in distance, it felt incredibly long due to the heavy snow, which left me a bit exhausted. Once I got inside the hotel, however, I was greeted by staff who were full of energy and dedication. They welcomed me warmly, and even though there was a slight language barrier, it wasn’t a problem at all. The check-in process was extremely smooth and convenient. The room was spotless, spacious, and boasted a stunning view from the window. The rooftop smoking area also offered a great view—not only is it perfect for smoking, but it’s also an ideal spot for taking beautiful photos. I’d definitely love to come back and stay here again if I ever return to Hakodate.

The staff are very friendly. The hotel is close to the tram line and convenient to the main stain. The bed is hard as a rock. They need blackout curtains. They have laundry facilities which is nice.

A Texan in Hakodate

Difficult in snow with luggage from/to train station. Many passengers places don’t take CC’s and ATMs did not take our ATM cards. Overall was a good stay with visit to gondola.

ラウンジでのドリンクサービスが何回でも利用でき、子ども用にソフトドリンクも出してもらえたのが良かったです。部屋も狭くなく、清潔感ありました。函館駅や観光スポットへのアクセスも良く、利用して良かったです。 ペット連れで利用出来るということで、ワンちゃんがいましたが、鳴き声が聞こえることもなく、特に気にならなかったです。
