Nice small hotel located right in the center of German Colony, adjacent to Bahai Gardens. Clean room, could do with a little brush-up though (refers to the standard single room). Prompt and friendly service, when questions arise. Take into account: The single bedroom houses the WiFi and cable station for all the rooms, which must be switched on all the time. Continuous operation causes a silent humming sound. If you are a troubled sleeper, pack some earplugs. After one night, the sound didn‘t bother me any more. And: When asked about it, the owner offered another room.

Check in was easy; room was clean and nice. Bathroom was tiny but clean and functional. Tv was a little wonky and inconsistent. While we found free street parking right across the street from the hotel it was by luck and then couldn’t move as spaces were at a premium.

Tolles, kleines Hotel

Tolles, kleines Hotel direkt am Fuße der Bahai Terrassengärten (keine 100 Meter) im Deutschen Viertel. Frühstück nicht in Hotel möglich aber in kurzer Distanz 2 sehr gute Restaurants, die schon morgens geöffnet sind. Service war nicht besetzt, lief alles über Email oder Telefon (Englisch). Irreführend ist die Angabe eines Hotelparkplatzes (gibt es nicht), man muss draußen auf der Straße parken (es gibt dort Parkbeschränkungen). Würde dennoch wieder buchen, die Lage ist unschlagbar.

A small and coזy hotel in the heart of the German Colony, with the best view at the Bahai gardens from the nicest balcony. The staff was great. Although the front dest isn't 24/7 filled (which they don't claim it to be), there's always someone available at any time by phone, to assist with any problem. Rooms were clean and comfortable, great place for a humble yet satisfying stay in Haifa

Die Lage des Hotels und die Sauberkeit war für mich perfekt. Dass das Zimmer am Samstag "Sabat" nicht geputzt wird, erwarte in einem Hotel nicht. Das Zimmer war neu renoviert und die erste zwei Nächte nach Farbe gerochen. Mein Zimmer war nicht sehr gross und für zwei Personen wäre klein gewesen. Die Organisation mit der Rezeption war sehr gut und meine Anliegen wurde nach Möglichkeiten besten erledigt. Herzlichen Dank

Extremely clean

The City Port Hotel is spotless. After meeting Zippy (sorry I didn’t get the correct spelling), she showed me the room, told me to park anywhere and check out the neighborhood. That night, when we had time to look around more at the room, there wasn’t a thing out of place... a nice place to stay for a night

Unterkunft oberhalb einer Touristen- Synagoge direkt am Fuß der Bahá’í Gaerten (kein Zugang) in der German Colony. Schoenes, aber kleines Zimmer mit gut ausgestattetem Bad. Angenehm unkompliziert. Nicht zentral gelegen aber gute Restaurants gleich nebenan.

perfect stay if you're out and about!

it was the perfect stay for bahai pilgrimage in haifa. the only minor issue i had was the various display lights from the air conditioner, tv, tv tuner and built-in usb charger made it difficult to get the room as dark as i would have liked for sleeping. staff was great, room was spotless. no noise issues from other guests.
