「We did not stay i went there to recuperate after heart operation it wa dark freezing in side messy the room had crack in the plaster no heating no TV and the place was locked no welcome at all tge owner came out eventually we jyst drove 4 hours back to Birmingham uk 」

「Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. Instead there was a DAB radio which was playing a soothing Classic FM when we entered our rather classy country pub hotel. Everything was to a very high standard in our room. 「This shepherd's hut is in a very remote area. Some difficulty traversing the narrow country roads to get there. The view was lovely and the host friendly and accomodating. The bed was high and we, in our mid seventies, had to assist each other in and out each time. All in all, despite the wet, windy weather, we had a sheperd's hut experience which we could not have in Canada. I think it would have been a nice area to enjoy in warmer, more pleasant weather.」

「We stayed at Waterland Farm as a family of 9 (plus 1 dog) for a long weekend break and it was brilliant. The house is very spacious with lots of facilities, including a toy room for the kids, a PS /x-box and old-school vinyl record player. The outdoor area is massive and the kids loved the football goal and playground. As it states the field isn’t secure for a dog as there are open areas but she still enjoyed a run around. Overall a great place to stay and we would return! 」
