Good location with good spa facilities but didn’t enjoy the spa treatment had couple Mediterranean Bliss packages. Rooms were clean and equipped with kitchen facilities and a good air conditioning, used as heater coz it was cold in December. Thank you to Grands suites Hotel & Spa staff to make our stay very comfortable. At Receptionist Marina & Akash always serving with a smile and from back office many Thanks to Darlyn for the upgrade of the room with a bath tub, I really needed this. Thank you Eslam for helping us with late check out at 12pm. The hotel is very clean, good location and excellent spa facilities. Also having the kitchen facilities in every room really helps, we had our own breakfast everyday and also microwave there to warm any food at any time.

A surprisingly large room in perfect condition. Located just ten minute walk from seaside action. Only two negative items to mention: there seems no sound insulation between rooms so every bump and shout sounds as if it is in our room…and please reload the coffee pods daily.

Very nice hotel with great staff. Roof top pool area/bar area/sun lounging/views is top class. BUT….the hotel is built in a square, round an inner “courtyard” - trouble being the inner area is small and 11 stories high, which makes the rooms with windows all looking into this courtyard, dismal and hugely lacking in light unless you are in the top two floors. The rooms are shades of grey/industrial decor, and this lack of light simply accentuates a grey/depressive feel in the room…..having small balconies looking out on the “inner sanctum” was 100%pointless unless you were a smoker wanting to stare at walls with huge metal pipes (air conditioning)? The “courtyard” wasn’t developed into a seating area but was simply left for whst we could make out as being for storage. If given an Inner facing room below levels 8-10 ? AVOID as certain levels yoi only see the sky if leaning right over the rail and looking up vertically

Nice, modern property. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but the balcony view of the street is noisy, and there was no coffee maker in the 'full kitchen'. Outdoor pool area had plenty of loungers and a bar area to to get drinks. Staff was very helpful. We did not eat at the hotel, but the cafe on the ground floor and the restaurant on the top floor looked nice.

Nice hotel located in central Gzira. The lobby and public areas are very nice. Rooms are large and well equipped. The rooftop pool is great with plenty of sun beds so is a great place to relax. We were given a room under the restaurant, which was very noisy from 6.30am. We asked to change room which the hotel sorted out by the afternoon. Parking is 15 euros a night. You can try and park on the road but the area is quite busy. Overall, a nice hotel but can be quite nosy so might not be the best choice if you want a quiet stay

Excellent!

Excellent hotel. Staff were friendly. Anything that was wrong or we ran out of was sorted straightaway. We booked a studio suite so had a kitchen (incl kettle, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer etc) so we were able to eat in or out. Ideally placed - 5 minutes walk from a few bus stops. Into Valetta in 15 minutes. Can travel all over the island easily. Recommend the bus card (unlimited journeys for 7 days) Plus fast ferry to Gozo. Pools you have choice of the roof (amazing views up there or the indoor pool and spa. Yes, I know a few reviews have stated they can hear noise, we could (seems to be via doors, especially banging doors) but this wasn’t enough to detract from our stay or remove a star. One of the best hotels have stayed in! Must visits are Mdina (Knights and Mdina Experience), Valetta (Lascaris War Rooms, Upper Barrakka, Saluting Battery, Monestery with secret garden, The Malta Experience)

Absolutely fab hotel in terms of facilities, size of room and the pool and spa areas. Also a great location in Gzira, minites walk from the promenade and the food in the rooftop restaurant is fantastic. Our one major complaint was that the sound insulation is poor - we were woken everyday between 6.30am and 7.15am by loud banging coming from the restaurant in the hotel right above us as they set up for breakfaat (we were on the 10th floor). If staying here, look for a different floor or if you are an early riser, you will be fine. Could hear no noise from outside which was great as roadworks and building were going on beside the hotel. However the insulation against noise coming from the floor above was quite poor. We had broken sleep throughout the week long stay as a result (a shame as the beds are super comfy and the room gets blackout dark).
