The rooms are too small for even a couple & a child but otherwise, spotlessly clean. Overall hospitality needs an uplift as I found the staff a little 'crude'. The warmth that we are used to in the Indian hospitality industry was nowhere to be seen but functional for sure.

we had a terrible stay, once we checked in we were allotted a basic room with no window or balcony, we had booked a room with mountain view. it was a very very basic room, the bathroom was flooded we noted it to manager the manager promised to switch our room next day as he said they were booked for that day. we had done the reservations 6 months prior though where allotted a shady room on time of arrival.

Staff was absolutely lovely. Room was nice and cozy. Hated the bathroom. Our friends had a nicer bathroom though. Property is stunning and staff was super helpful.

The place and cute and rustic, but there was no wifi, water leaks, construction banging until late and the rooms themselves can use a lot more renovating. Definitely feels more like a 2.5 star resort. But the staff was nice and attentive.

A very comfortable stay with accommodating and caring staff. We stayed in Gulmarg in July during a period of political instability that restricted movement and travel within Kashmir. The staff gladly put us up for an extra night and ensured we were well fed and cared for. Only suggestion is to upgrade bathrooms as they were a little worn out.

The minimum expectation from a hotel in freezing place is a cozy room with proper heating but I was highly disappointed. The room I was offered was large suite room and was very cold from the time we arrived at about 2:30 pm. I requested for proper heating as there was single blower and I was told the central heating system will start in 15 - 20 mins which never started till about 6:00 pm. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and had to limit out selves on the double bed to keep us warm through a electric blanket. Even during night the the heating was not sufficient and the extra bed did not have the electric blanket. I requested to provide either an extra electric blanket or extra blower and both request were refused. I caught cold during night and had to cancel my visit to Gandola next morning.
We were not offered a welcome drink on arrival and I thought they may not have a concept for it. The next day when we were waiting for our driver I noted that some new guests were being offered welcome drinks so I told them that I was not offered a welcome drink and they served us a complementary kawa.
Only one pleasant experience I can recollect is at the reception the manager offered his personal phone to make an international phone call and I sincerely appreciate his help.
