"The front of the property was completely under construction. Had to walk thru construction to get to the property and the area seemed to have a bunch of abandoned buildings. My partner did not feel very safe. However the room itself was exceptionally clean and functional albeit cramped. "

"Summary: Solid location, odd theming, sub par breakfast. The good • Excellent base for exploring Porto, everything within walking distance • Good choice of restaurants and bars on the doorstep • Comfortable rooms, but small • Small pool, but a nice spot to cool off • Shower pressure great The bad • Odd, slightly unsettling clown/circus theme in the bar and pool areas, maybe it’s a thing but it was a surprise when we walked around • Breakfast fell well short of 5-star standard, noticeably behind other hotels we’ve stayed at recently Overall: Good for location and comfort, let down by an odd aesthetic choice in the bar and restaurant/communal spaces and a breakfast that doesn’t match the star rating."
