Great clean room to get some rest for one night. We landed at 2 AM and.wanted a room in this area so we could get some sleep before checking into our resort. Contacted reception the day before arrival and we were given all the access and location information . We were even given the nighttime securities contact information and told he would be looking out for us! Felt very comfortable, even prior to arrival

The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and spotless accommodations. Step outside and the beach is just steps away, with plenty of great local restaurants nearby to enjoy.

We stayed here for one night and had a great experience. The property is right on the beach, which made it even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is perfect—close to local shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. Henry was especially helpful during check-in, providing clear directions and useful information. Highly recommended place to stay!

Unfortunately, the “ hotel” is under renovation and is not really the best option. Booked and paid for a ocean view room, we got there 1 hour after the check in time and upon getting to the room the AC unit was not working, the girl in charge called the “ maintenance guy “ but unfortunately was not available and we got moved to another room, is clean but not ocean front, bed and room is clean but they need to keep the maintenance in the bathroom (really bad water pressure and no toiletries available) No one is available to help you with your luggage if you have any. Tv didn’t work either and we just stop sending message utilizing whatapp. Upon returning to the room after dinner we realized the AC Unit was not generating enough power for the size of the room. We get up at 6am and by 730am out of the hotel and no one was available for the check out. When they finished their renovation projects, they can start offering rooms for booking.

Sans doute le meilleur hôtel que j’ai fais en rep dom. L’un des réceptionniste parle français ils sont tous gentils hyper accueillant .. la chambre vue sur mer est gigantesque et tellement clean j’ai adoré ! Hotel neuf !

El hotel estuvo muy bien, todo muy limpio y el personal siempre fue muy atento. La comunicación por WhatsApp fue excelente desde antes de llegar y durante toda la estancia, siempre respondieron rápido y con buena actitud. Además, prestan plancha para la ropa y secadora para cabello, lo cual se agradece bastante. Solo consideren que para que hagan el aseo de la habitación hay que avisar en recepción; si no se solicita, no entran a limpiar. En general recomiendo ampliamente el hotel por la atención y las instalaciones. Lo único que no recomiendo es consumir en el restaurante “La Concha del Mar”, que pertenece al mismo hotel. Además de que la playa en esa zona estaba sucia (algo que vimos en varios locales cercanos), ahí nos cobraron un 28% adicional de impuestos, cosa que en los restaurantes de al lado no sucedía. Como extranjeros, la experiencia sí nos hizo sentir que intentaban aprovecharse.

Hotel Juan Dolio was very beach convenient but, did not offer beach view, which I pay for. You can only see trees through the balcony. Room.was clean, we spent 18 and 19 never got our room cleaned. Staff is not at property literally uni are in your own. We gad a water issue jmin our room which we had to go External to get it address. They provide a wassap number of someone name Michelle which we text and still yet has not respond. We book via package obviously we knew check in policy but, then they tried to charge us 50% due to them early accepting us when they told us is was ok to go in our rooms with no extra charge. We check out one day early due to this. Management is very arrogant and rude trying to over talk himself to be correct.

Very Disappointing – I Do NOT Recommend This Resort I stayed at Emotions by Hodelpa Juan Dolio and specifically paid extra for a premium room with a private swim-up pool and upgraded service. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. My first impression was already negative. At check-in, the ladies at the front desk were not welcoming and came across as annoyed to be assisting guests. Then, to make matters worse, I was given a room that already had guests staying in it. I went to the room to drop off my luggage and was shocked to find someone else occupying the room. I had to return to the front desk and was eventually assigned another room. The cleanliness of the resort was also very disappointing. On my first day, I went to the 24/7 buffet/grill area and found food, fries, and chips all over the floor. It was clear that the area was not being cleaned or attended to properly. I also paid extra for a private swim-up pool, expecting this to be one of the highlights of my stay. Unfortunately, the pool was dirty make it impossible used it, with leaves, debris, and other particles throughout the water. I am including photos so guests can see the condition for themselves. On top of that, I found bugs and roaches inside my room, which is completely unacceptable for a resort charging the prices they charge. This property is marketed as a 4.5-star resort, In my opinion, the experience was closer to what I would expect from a 1- or 2-star.

The water had an horrible odor to it and one of staff kept making passes at my wife . The room air conditioning kept freezing up . We had to constantly turn it off . Nobody was at the front desk at night . They didn’t have a credit card system they only took pesos. And queen size bed was two twin sized beds put together very very uncomfortable . A horrible experience. It was times they tried to accommodate but it had so many bad points it still didn’t help the experience.
