The staff was wonderful. They made sure we had what we needed and went above and beyond to help us secure transportation. The facility was clean. The apartment we stayed in was spacious but needed a few updates. The pool was too cold to enjoy. Overall I would recommend this hotel because the staff made it everything.

Hotel San Carlos was quiet, quaint, and cozy. The design and architecture made me feel as though I were staying in a small historical museum, with elegant, thoughtfully curated décor throughout. My room was spotless—I could actually smell fresh detergent on the bedding, which was a nice touch. The food was very good, especially the chicken parmesan. The staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Although the hotel is only a short distance from the airport in terms of miles, traffic can make the commute surprisingly long. My ride from the airport took about 40 minutes to travel just two miles around 5:00 p.m., so timing is something to keep in mind. However, once settled in, I had no trouble safely using Uber to get to various sites and excursions.
