The receptionis was very efficient. But the cleannines of room disatisfied completely. Noises all night long. No TV working, no Wi-fi. I don't recommended it any more. It was a good place to stay, no more.

It was close to the main plaza in Zona 1. I felt safe there. Nice patio filled with plants - colonial style. I wasn’t happy about the receptionist, a nice girl trying to do her best but unfortunately unable to help her customers with the essentials like : where to find a travel agency open on Sunday, and knew nothing about transport out of town. Seemed only to know about one specific driver who could take us places and have us pay a lot for his services. Also the breakfast served the hotel was quite decent but way too expensive.

Although the street on which the hotel was situated looks a bit derelict, the hotel is a short walk to a nice street with lots of shops and restaurants. In general, for the price, the room was a good deal.

Reasonable hotel if you are alone and on a budget
We decided to stay here in an attempt to save a little money. This is a reasonably nice hotel, but I can not recommend it due to their unusual surcharges. We arrived late at night (around 10:30pm) and the entire hotel was completely dark inside. There were no lights on in any of the hallways or the lobby, and they did not turn them on for us when we arrived. If it was not for the “flashlight” option on my phone, I would have had a hard time climbing the stairs to my room. The room was comfortable, however I didn’t notice when I booked the reservation that there is a “surcharge” for the “airport shuttle”. (Every other hotel I have stayed at in Guatemala City has offered a complimentary airport shuttle). Their “shuttle” was actually just a taxicab they called for us, who directly charged us Q180 for the ride. This is much higher than the usual rate we have paid for a similar cab ride in the past. Also, buried in the fine print, which I failed to notice until later, was a $15 surcharge, per night, for having a second person in the room. Add this all up, and our stay here was actually more expensive than it would have been at our preferred hotel in the same area, the Hotel Royal Palace. My recommendation is to skip this one and just stay at the Royal Palace instead, especially if you have more than one person with you. The Royal Palace has a much better location, better facilities, better service, a better restaurant, free airport shuttle, and no unexpected surcharges.

J'ai voulu imprimé 3 feuilles juste avant de partir le mec me demande 10 quetzal comme si ça coutait 3,333Q la feuille, prix à la tete du client. L'ordi à 3Q les 15 min est tellement lent qu'il est à éviter à tout prix

Confortable and inexpensive
The Hotel is small but very quiet it’s clean and found what I needed a clean and comfortable bed hot water and working bathroom. I don’t recommend the restaurant it’s expensive for the kind of menu they have

Nosotros tomamos un hotel en Ciudad de Guatemala porque en el último día de nuestro tour quisimos conocer Antigua; llegamos de madrugada y el joven de la recepción nos atendió muy bien; el hotel por fuera es bonito, tiene un jardín y hall muy agradable; el desayuno aunque de pago nos resultó económico y hubo una buena atención; la habitación no me gustó, habia mucha humedad y no tenía ventilación, mi pareja en la segunda noche tuvo mucha tos que probablemente haya sido por esto; además no limpiaron la habitación al segundo día.

Just for spending the night before going to hotel
Relative close to the airport (15 minutes with no traffic). It seems it is located in a not safe area since I asked the receptionist if I can go out for dinner (restaurant is only two blocks from the hotel) and she told me not to go because it was not safe at that time (9:00 pm). Only one UBER working at 3:00 am, so, you maybe need to go in taxi.
