「Visiting Bordeaux for the first time, our host made us feel welcome and provided an excellent overview of the town, places to see, a few (very excellent) food recommendations and was available the whole stay to answer questions. Our room was perfectly prepared with everything we needed. The location made for easy walking to markets/attractions and also the tram. We had a fabulous time thanks to George’s fine hospitality.」

「Very friendly staff, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Only challenge is an accurate understanding of meeting arrangements to gain initial entry: Staff was waiting inside, unbeknownst to us, whilewe were waiting outside ! Instructions should stress “ring doorbell on arrival”, and provide location, since it’s a little hard to find, especially in the dark. But otherwise a truly lovely choice in Bordeaux.」

「Location can’t be beat. Right in the heart of the shops and cafes, steps from the Opera and a short walk to the university. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful, providing recommendations and tips for best navigating the area. Be mindful that it’s located in a pedestrian-only part of the city, so it will be a short walk to pickup a taxi or uber. Absolutely would stay here again.」
