Firstly, had a really enjoyable holiday here. The staff and phenomenal and very attentive which makes a huge difference, However, the resort is now a few years overdue a refurb as everything is starting to look tired with many things not working.
We stayed in the presidential suite in building 2. We had to use the "staff elevator" for moving luggage as the guest lift was broken. This meant 8 flights of stairs to get to/from the room. Pretty knackering in 35c heat. The escalators and lifts in the main lobby were also broken. Our room, despite being on the top floor, had a water leak which finally culminated in part of the room falling in and fixtures and fittings are loose, missing parts or in bad condition.
The resort has plenty of restaurants, bars and pools to keep you fed and watered all day. We never elatr at the same one more than once, so the variety is very welcome. The pools during the day are used for parties, aqua sports and such which meant the pool area and beach could be quite loud. Whilst this didn't bother us, it could definitely be a drawback for those who want some peace and quiet.
Overall, we enjoyed our trip but would likely pick another resort if we came back unless the property has thorough regenerative work done
