"Travelling with two cats and a dog for a cross province move. The suite was clean and comfortable with enough room for 4 adults. Bathroom was basic and we had to request more towels. View over lake was obscured and there appeared to be a trail down to it but it was closed with construction fencing. Owners are very friendly and the morning continental breakfast was basic but provides an easy option before getting back on the road. Overall, a reasonable option for short term stays that is clean, quiet and functional."

"Would have been 5 stars for everything if... We booked this for one night along our road trip. We wish we were able to stay longer and would definitely stay again. The location is beautiful. Very well kept. The cabin itself was very comfortable. The lake is gorgeous. The restaurant on site was excellent. The only reason we aren't giving 5 stars for everything is that we didn't have any hot water. We arrived in the evening and from the suggestion of the person that checked us in, went to dinner right away before the restaurant closed. When we finally got to the cabin, we wanted to utilize the really nice jacuzzi tub but quickly discovered we had no hot water. The office was closed for the night so we weren't able to inform them until the morning (once the office opened). They sent someone up right away. They'd forgotten to turn the hot water on for the cabin. We had just enough time to shower and load the car before check out time. Although they fixed the issue quickly in the morning, it was dissappointing that we weren't offered any kind of compensation for the inconvenience and inability to have a warm bath or shower after our long travel day. It really didn't seem significant to the person at the front desk when we checked out. For us it really was."

"The room was perfect! As my husband is disabled we stayed in one of the room especially designed for people with mobility issues. The door leading into the bathroom is wide enough for a wheelchair and the walk in shower is equipped with a seat, the countertop is lower to allow for easier access as well. Cleanliness was spot on throughout the room and other areas of the property. Staff were all very friendly and engaging, the continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful and the parking was very convenient to the room. 100% recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay again the next time we are travelling. "
