"I am writing regarding my stay at your resort from May 29, 2026 through June 1, 2026. On the morning of May 30, I attempted to make coffee in my room, only to discover that the coffee maker was not working. Before leaving for the day, I stopped by the front desk and informed the staff of the problem. I explained that I had been inconvenienced by having to purchase coffee from Starbucks instead of using the in-room coffee maker. There were two employees at the front desk, and one of them assured me by saying, “I’m on it.” I thanked her and expected the issue would be resolved promptly. However, on the morning of May 31, I discovered that the coffee maker had not been repaired or replaced. In fact, my coffee cup was still sitting exactly where I had left it the previous day, indicating that no one had addressed the issue. Once again, I was forced to purchase coffee from Starbucks, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. Additionally, on May 31, I notified the front desk that I would have an additional guest joining me that evening and requested extra towels and washcloths. Unfortunately, the requested items were never delivered. Furthermore, housekeeping did not service my room during my stay, which added to my dissatisfaction. Another concern was that several light fixtures in the room were not functioning properly, leaving the room noticeably dim throughout my stay."

"Our stay was not pleasant at all. There was a thunderstorm passing by and the power went out and it was not restored until Friday late afternoon. Our night was very uncomfortable with no rest at all, because there was no power to run the AC and the windows don’t even open to get fresh air into the room throughout the night or morning, nor able to take a shower. This was not how we wanted to spend our time in Chicago."

"Needed something affordable near Chicago for a work trip and this fit the bill. It does seem the property has been recently updated, but overall felt unclean and the location was not the best. Stayed two nights and both nights experienced constant sirens and police presence outside. On the morning we left, police had shut down the entire road forcing us to find a different route to where we needed to go. The room itself was also not great- microwave and fridge both had an unpleasant smell, found crumbs on the furniture and floor, stains on the bedsheets and towels, hair (not ours) in the shower and what looked like black mold along the ceiling in the bathroom. Not the absolute worst, but I would not stay here again."
