My favourite stay in Lux

Whenever I come to Lux for work, I’m always happy to stay at Simon’s Plaza. The staff is very kind and helpful, there are two eating option for dinner (brasserie for a quick burger, and a delicious and elegant restaurant) and a small gym to workout in the morning. The beds are comfortable (I would just improve the pillows) and the rooms are well isolated. The free parking is the cherry on the cake.

Hotel der egner sig perfekt til en enkelt overnatning hvor man er på vej fra A til B. Værelserne er af ældre dato men velholdte og rene. Bedste bruser på hele rejsen. Fra værelset var der hyggelig udsigt til græssende limousinekøer og brasseriet var indrettet sjovt med gamle effekter fra Esso. Personalet var kompetente og venlige.

Das Hotel liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig an der A1 (und trotzdem angenehm ruhig), es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze, ÖPNV, Tanke, usw. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und kompetent.

Goede accommodatie. Nog maar weinig gezien maar men heeft zelfs bagagewagentjes om je bagage vanaf de parkeerplaats naar en van je kamer te kunnen brengen. Vriendelijk personeel in de bar en bij het ontbijt.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit dem Auto

Das Hotel liegt auf halber Strecke zwischen Trier und Luxemburg Stadt direkt an der Autobahnabfahrt. Es bietet kostenlose Parkplätze und saubere Zimmer in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist nicht außergewöhnlich, aber ausreichend. Ein paar alkoholfreie Getränke auf dem Zimmer sind im Preis enthalten. Es ist ein Business-Hotel, das an den Wochenenden auch von Touristen genutzt wird. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto (auch fürs Einkaufen). Außer Restaurant/Bar gibt es dort nichts, womit man sich die Zeit vertreiben kann (keinen Pool, keinen Balkon, keinen Garten). Leichte Abzüge gibt es von uns für den Komfort der Betten. Die Kissen sind sehr dick und waren deshalb für uns nicht bequem. Das ist aber nur eine Kleinigkeit. Wer mit der richtigen Erwartungshaltung eincheckt, wird sicher nicht enttäuscht.
