Romantic, beautiful. Great, spacious room. The gardens were meticulously cared for. We fell asleep with the smell of crushed grapes as they were making wine. The resto and wine were both outstanding.

We loved our stay at Vignamaggio. It is a pink 14th Century Renaissance villa built by the family of Mona Lisa. It's a very relaxing place with a nice restaurant and nice pools. Our room was nice and spacious and also very charming, with exposed wood beams on the ceiling. The restaurant was very nice and we really liked the food there and the wine from the vineyards. Breakfast was amazing and in a very pretty setting. The only complaint would be that the bed was not really a king size mattress but two small mattresses pushed together, not really comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return!

General location was beautiful, reception/lobby, winery, pools, restaurant are amazing, BUT we stayed in one of there farm houses that slept our family of 4 and it was just as beautiful and secluded.. Our issue was that it was close to 5 km(1 km down a dirt road) from everything including breakfast. Hotel detailed said 3 km from property, but door to door was closer to 5 km. Maid service only on the third day(we stayed 2)-not in details. Overall it was a great place for a family or traveling couples to share, just be sure to find out exactly which of several properties you will be located on as they have several not attached to the main.
