It was a beautiful place to stay. Big and roomy. The staff was not there at time of check in. We had to yell Hello a few times before someone came around. (5minutes) the computer was down at check in. We stayed 3 nights and we loved the stay. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was a little hard, pillows big n fluffy. The breakfast was very little. Help yourself to it all day. The restaurant was not great, Very bland, very empty, $$. I would recommend the stay but bring snacks/microwave food. Great outdoor walking area. It’s absolutely beautiful there. We only saw the staff/front office at check in only.

One strange thing . . . People who are not using the hot tub seem to hang around the hot tub all the time. No one used the hot tub the entire time I was there, this is probably why. I certainly didn't feel comfortable using it, it's a very small area with only a few chairs. Staff, rooms, restaurant and ambiance was first rate! Absolutely lovely!

The location is perfect. Close to trails and the Greer town center. This is an old lodge in need of upgrades. Our” deluxe “ room was spacious, but unkept.Ceiling fan was literally dripping with dust and dirt. Couch coated with dog hair. Had to search for a staff member for soap. Hot tub was not working. Understaffed, under maintained in general. Front desk staff, when we found her, was curt, grouchy and not helpful. Bartender/ wait staff in the German restaurant friendly but overworked. Will look for other accommodations next trip to Greer
