Hampton Inn was a great place to stay on our way back to the suburbs of Chicago from South Carolina. Greensburg is a beautiful clean town as well.

It was ok.

Well it wasn't too horrible if you like a bed that is hard as a rock. It didnt have very good water pressure. If you want coffee at 6am better bring it with you and heat it up. Coffee wasn't ready at 6am people were waiting on it. They didn't have anything ready for breakfast. We left about 6:10am.

We found the breakfast to be lacking in every way. In fact we decided it was the worst breakfast we’d ever had at a motel. The eating area was freezing cold. The food was lukewarm and tasteless. Oatmeal was watery. No sweet rolls. They had two elevators…one was out of order and the other one was maddeningly SLOW.

It was clean and commodious, like other Hampton Inns. The dining and lounging area was decorated in an interesting and almost grand manner. While we were there, there were two condition issues: the elevators weren't working for a while, and in our room the toilet tank wouldn't fill (at the end of our stay). The walls seemed unusually thin for a Hampton Inn.

Noisy construction

Stay was pretty good, one annoying issue was the property is being renovated and the construction team was on site noisily cutting brick while I was still trying to sleep. (7:30 or maybe 8:00). That was not appreciated.
