"Great stay all round. The staff was very helpful and happy to speak English, after we initially tried to converse in some (very poor) French. They pointed out the things to do and places to see. The only slight concern was that the night receptionist did not know they had synthetic pillows (as one of us is asthmatic and the existing feather pillows could have caused respiratory issues). However, after pointing it out in their handbook in the room, she quickly resolved it by finding two pillows for us to use. Very comfortable bed - had a good sleep! It was also beautiful to see the city in the glow of the morning sun. We didn’t have breakfast, but The Club was available for complementary snacks and drinks outside of breakfast hours. "Very nice new hotel near the railway station and a large shopping mall. The staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and calling a taxi. The room was really nice and comfortable. Perfect place for a brief stay in Lyon on our way back to Paris from Chamonix. "
