「The shower/bath looks like it had water damage, and it sounded like a radio in one of the rooms close to mine was on full blast this morning. 」

「Staff was helpful, room was clean. Only complaint was the train that went through at the worst time of night and is basically touching the property. Would stay again for price and location. Might request a forward facing room. 」

「Nice place to stay on overnight trip. Located south/east of Charleston. The interior of the hotel must of been renovated very well recently. Everything was in good shape and clean. Room was also massive. Worth the money for a one night stop.」

「David King, front desk, was quick to smile and was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy, parking was easy.」

「The staff were friendly and kind. The hotel and our room smelled strongly of weed. The sink wouldn’t drain and the bathroom was in disrepair. The bedding was ripped and stained. I tried to contact Expedia and they said someone would call. It’s been a week and no one has called. Again the staff were all friendly and helpful but the building is need of a lot of repairs and a good cleaning for the smell. 」

「This is our second time staying here. The owners are so nice and make us feel welcome. The view of the river out our door is beautiful. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable.」

「This was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I even Googled it because I was convinced it was brand new. The beds were cozy, staff was friendly, breakfast was great (loved the outdoor seating option), and having cookies and popcorn available was a nice added touch too! Also, we asked for a pack & play, and they already had it in our room for us when we arrived. Whenever we drive through on future road trips, we will definitely return!」

「There were bed bugs in our room on 2nd floor as well as the rooms our team were in on the 8th floor. It took us hours to find other rooms for the team we had taken to Charleston to compete the next day. We will not book there again and will not recommend this property. 」

「Bed were clean, floors felt absolutely grimy, the room clearly had water damage they’d tried to cover up. You have to nearly fist fight the shower to get it to work. Pool area is questionable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, regardless of price. A nice outside to try and cover the terrible inside. 」

「The hotel property needs improvement. We had to have our room key reprogrammed 5x in 2 days. We never had room service. We NO seating in our King room other the bed, a coffee maker with no carafe to brew it in, and the TV remote was ineffective. The overall property needs improvements from paint and wall repair throughout to new carpet in the rooms. (specifically ours)」
