"We are a family of six, four children and myself and husband. This Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely beautiful and I fell in love with how traditional it is. My children had plenty of fun out back in the huge garden. Most evenings we had a fire blazing in the living room. While we played board games and playing cards. "Perfect location for several nights as homebase for sightseeing daytrips. Cozy and great amenities, although 6 adults might be tight; 4 was comfortable (we used third bedroom for our luggage). Beautiful, tranquil setting. Plenty of bath and kitchen towels; plenty of cookware and utensils; plenty of refrigerator space; easy check-in and operation instructions. "The staff at check where great, hasle free check in, very nice, there was no parking left in there car park, that was not a problem as the staff told me about car parks 2 minutes walk away, €3 parking for the day, the hotel is in a great location, its within walking distance to everything, I'll be staying again."

"We enjoyed a really lovely short break in Sligo recently with the excellent Castle Dargan as a base. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Everyone greeted us warmly and were attentive without being intrusive. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bedding and large bathroom, although the toilet bowl was situated very tight to a wall. We enjoyed a tasty lunch overlooking the scenic golf course. Breakfast offered a good choice and again was top class. We will definitely return to this gem of a hotel."
