「It's an older hotel with orginal cinderblock walls, that has been very nicely renovated as best as possible. Wood ceilings have been cleaned up and well stained. Nice big beds and good sized refrigerators and stoves. Parking is easy and right outside your door. The downside is noise carries between rooms, as we heard the next door guests easily a few times, but most folks are peaceful. It's in downtown Blaine, so a nice walk all around. 「The la Quinta in Bellingham was a wonderful respite at the end of a very long drive. We arrived late and had no problems with checking in or rooms and there were several of us. We tested the pool and hot tub the next day and were very pleased. The hot tub, was actually hot and comfortable. They are usually barely warm. If I am back in town, I shall put this hotel at the top of my list.」
