Find Waterpark Hotels in Grande Prairie

"Booked this hotel for a mini family getaway, because they have a pool with slide and a hot tub, so our 6year old could have some water fun. Prior booking I phoned to make sure everything was functional. Lady on the phone informed me that the slide was out of order, but assured me that the pool and the hot tub is up and running. We get to the hotel, and surprise surprise, hot tub is out of order. So the only thing thats working is the pool. The water in the pool was an ok temperature, but the air was kind of chilly and our kid started shivering within 15 minutes of being in the water. And no hot tub to go and warm up. So all he water fun was ruined. I booked a standart room with 1 queen size bed and a pullout sofa bed for our child. Room was spacious enough for the 3 of us, but our bed was so squeeky that every time we turned or moved, we woke up our son. So neither of us got a good nights sleep. Maybe, its because I booked through Expedia we got such crappy service, and room since the lady at the check in was very adamant that we don't get any free vouchers for casino which is the hotels promotion, because we booked through Expedia. (Not that we would go, because our kid, but we could've used it next time). To add the cherry on the top, the housekeeping barged into our room 2 hours before the checkout even though we answered the knock on the door with a polite "we are still in here". $150 for a crapy stay and a cranky kid for our 2 hour car ride to go home.
