I hate to write a negative review because the front desk the staff is very sweet, but this is not a 4-5 star property and not worth $600 for one night.
Here is what went wrong for the little staycation we had this past Saturday:
1. (Not the fault of the hotel, but still did not help
The experience) we ended up opting for a stay the same weekend as prom and a wedding. We could hear noise up and down the hallways through about 2:30 in the morning. Terrible experience.
2. The AC would not work for us until about 3 am. We were sweating like pigs the entire night. We tried to get it to come on but it just wouldn’t work for us. And when it did kick over and turn on, the power/output is very very low. If we had gone just a week prior no problem, but the temps are starting to get warmer outside, so wrong time for the AC to not kick on.
3. The bed. Oh…my…goodness. We have stayed at 200 hotels in our life and this had to be the worse bed we have ever slept on. It was like sleeping on a slab of concrete.
4. (Again…not the fault of the hotel, but it didn’t help)…. We purchased a voucher to the French bistro for breakfast. One little problem… staying at the hotel does not necessarily guarantee you a spot in the restaurant, especially while a private birthday event is taking place. We tried to get seating at 10:50 and the earliest spot they had was 12:20. By that time we were gone.the staff did give us a credit though.
Just not good. barely worth $250 a night let alone $603.
