The motel reminded me a little of the motels from the 1950. My room was clean and nicely decorated. It had a coffee maker, a microwave, and a refrigerator that was larger than I expected. I was able to park right in front of the door to my room, which made moving my luggage easy. The room rates were reasonable compared with other motels in the area. They do not provide breakfast but there is a very nice restaurant next door that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with good food at reasonable prices.

The room was nice and clean. Needs to be updated but it was okay. We came with a boat and it was hard to find a place to park. The place is filled with so many vehicles. They have people that more or less live there. The room next to us had two grills and a deep fryer on the sidewalk. They never moved anything so we couldn’t use the sidewalk. At night they fired up the grill literally a foot from our air conditioner. We had to turn it off because of the lighter fluid fumes. Just no awareness of others.

It was the perfect place for a one night stay for my husband, mom, and small dog. The owners were very friendly upon checking us in, and the room was very clean & reasonably priced. Our room had a full sized fridge and a small microwave. The motel is a bit "vintage (blue toilet & tub), but aside from a bit of a moth ball type smell, it was exactly what we needed for easy loading/unloading of luggage, people and pottying the pooch👍👍 Our room had a lake view as well. I would definately stay again.

couple get away

We needed a stopping off point on our way to Grand Forks North Dakota. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone needing a quick comfortable place to stay overnite
