Room was dirty, dirty hand prints on walls, old blood on mattress protector located on child’s bunk bed (did not come from my child). Staff were nice… my kids got sick and they were helpful with getting extra sheets but did not change the mattress protector after we told them about the blood, however they did after the 2nd request the following day when we discovered it wasn’t actually changed the initial time we requsted it to be changed (they just made the bed and changed top sheets the first time, not the dirty protector). Breakfast was good, family friendly but lots of hazards in the pool area. Very old, very dusty swim area, floors were gross in the swim area. Manager from Tavern united was passed out drunk on the floor of restaurant of bar area by black jack table on of the nights we were there. Husband had to help move him on to chair and get into a room, security was injured so could not move intoxicated manager alone. Overall would not recommend staying there. We’ve emailed general manager with complaints as we were not impressed. Sanitizer machines broken, elevators panels broken and taped together, ice machines not working on certain floors.

Room was okay, initial front desk clerk was a good person, but i thought i forgot something in my room, called to ask, 1st call i was hung up on while ringing, 2nd call was answered after a minute and a half but put on hold for 40 minutes, called again and was finally helped, i do not recommend staying here

Room was small for the price. We had bunk beds with a double. Window facing the inner part of the hotel so no sunlight. Hair and red stain on the sheets. They tried to fix it for us when speaking with staff. Fun water slide and arcade.

We chose this location for the family friendly rooms and water park. The website was unclear on how the waterpark worked in coordination with the hotel. I did not know that you had to pay above for water park passes. That should be included with the rooms considering the “waterpark” part was only open in the evening. We are a family of 5 and it’s hard to find rooms so we appreciated the bunk room option. Our kids loved that. The room itself was dated and needed some updating but otherwise good. Us and many other families were trying to checkin after 4 and the rooms were not ready. They were very kind and apologetic and treated us to dinner vouchers and water park passes. We went down during Manitoba spring break and the hotel was filled with other Canadians. On our checkout day we went to the breakfast buffet an it seemed to be severely understaffed as there were long lines for the buffet and to get into the restaurant. In all, would stay there again.

The waterpark was great for a day of family fun. I was surprised to get free breakfast buffet with the room. We found a shoe and assorted small toys under the bed so some concerns about cleaning, but generally the hotel appeared clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and answered all our questions.

Room was okay, needs a lot.of updating. Super noisy and our heat/ac was ancient and super loud. Front desk was not helpful when needing extra supplies and hotel in general is in rough condition.
