I spent four nights at this hotel with my sister. We absolutely love the location, Cleanines of the hotel and friendliness of the stuff. Breakfast was always fresh and plenty of it, but it is simple. The hotel is located in a beautiful area where you could go for a walk and swim if it’s nice and sunny & summer. Accessible to highways if you wish to travel around. A lot of free parking in the area safe place excellent for anyone who travels alone or in a company.

The worst service ever

The hotel is OK but the personnel is very badly trained. Nobody smiles at you, everywhere you see only funeral faces. Nobody pays attention to you. You are treated like an anonymous number (in the best scenario) or as a source of pain in the neck. Very unpleasant. The hotel managers should know that they have to teach their personnel to be smiling, friendly and attentive, otherwise the hotel would not survive in the harsh competition of the Grado hotels. We have been several times in hotels in Grado: here we have found the worst service ever!

Das Frühstück ist äußerst einfach gehalten. Für Vegetarier ist die Auswahl beim Frühstück viel zu gering. Es gibt keinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer.

Über Hotels.com bestellt mit Balkon. Das Hotel hatte allerdings nichts von einem Balkon gewusst. Beim Frühstücksbuffet hat uns Gemüse gefehlt (nur Tomaten).

Vintage hotel

If you need to remember old style keys to enter in the room, the moquette and the cathodic-tube tv, this is the right hotel! Also the staff at the reception (check-in and -out) do not care anything about you and your holiday: good hotel if you are a shy person.

Kedeligt hotel.

Hotellet ligger godt i forhold til stranden. Den unge pige i receptionen var meget hjælpsom, da vi ikke havde fået det vi havde bestilte, det sørgede hun for med det samme.Hotellet er slidt og ikke ret hyggeligt. Morgenmaden er jævn kedeligt. Nok ikke det hotel vi vælger næste gang

Sehr freundliches Personal

Das stets sehr bemühte Personal beherrscht ausgezeichnetes Deutsch und Englisch. Das Hotel bietet alles, was man für 3 Sterne erwarten kann. Am Zimmer findet sich kein Safe, dafür kann man kostenfrei bei der Rezeption seine Wertsachen einsperren lassen. Am Strand ist man in 5 Minuten und in der Altstadt in 20 Minuten. Negativ aufgefallen ist ein müffiger Geruch im Zimmer bei eintreffen, der allerdings nach einem Tag durch entsprechende Lüftung weg war und das die Klimaanlage wohl eher eine Lüftung ist. So richtig gekühlt hat sie jedenfalls nicht.

Tornando dal nostro viaggio abbiamo fatto tappa una notte in questo hotel. Molto vicino alla spiaggia , colazione ottima, camera e bagno pulito, anche il personale gentile. Unica pecca la serratura della camera una fatica per aprire e chiudere con la chiave.

Un voyage dans le temps !

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil chaleureux que nous avez réservé le Monsieur lors de notre arrivée tardive (qui contrastait un peu en revanche avec celui de notre départ le lendemain avec la femme à l'accueil...). Le décor de l'hôtel nous invite à un voyage dans le temps à travers les cartes anciennes et tout particulièrement (du moins dans notre chambre) les coulisses vénitiennes avec des dessins de costumes et de masques du théâtre. Le petit déjeuner est un pur régal – un buffet salé-sucré à volonté ! La terrasse de notre chambre était le comble accompagnée de 2 transats pour agrémenter la détente. C’est un quartier hôtelier tranquille avec une pizzeria qui laisse à désirer… la prochaine fois, à tester le bistrot juste à côté ! Sinon, super bar (Bar Tergesteo) avec une super équipe dynamique, accueillante, polyglotte, souriante et aux petits oignons de sa clientèle… et un gelato molto buono ! A part cela, la route menant vers le nord (direction Aquileia) passe par de sublimes paysages du lagon... à visiter la prochaine fois en vélo, à pied ou même en bateau... une faune et une flore à couper le souffle !

The hotel situated very close to the main beach, where you have to pay, but the sunbeds and umbrella is in the price, so it's cheaper than the free beach! Every facalities is around the hotel, restaurants, shops, etc. Front of the hotel is a market only on saturday, it's a good opportunity if you want to buy clothes or fresh fruit and vegetables. The reception works in 24 hours, they were very helpful and kind. We got bicycles by free of charge. The breakfast is satisfying. Also you can connect to the wifi in your room! Our stay was very cool, i recommend this hotel highly for this price!

Muffiges Ambiente mit bemüht freundlichem Personal

Nach erfolgreicher Reklamation konnten wir nach der ersten Nacht doch noch in ein Zimmer mit Balkon , so wie auf der deutschen Version von Expedia ausgeschrieben, bekommen. Dieses war deutlich besser durchlüftet, nur das Bad roch ähnlich streng wie das vom Zimmer davor, deshalb entschlossen wir uns mit einem im Supermarkt um die Ecke erstandenen Reiniger die Toilette etwas nachzubessern. Danach waren wir mit dem Zimmer recht zufrieden, es war groß genug und nicht ungemütlich. Gerade in Grado kann man an vielen Plätzen ausgezeichnet essen, deshalb freuten wir uns schon auf das Frühstücksbuffet und dieses war auch in Ordnung, aber nicht wirklich so lecker wie wir es in ähnlichen Unterkünften in der Nähe (welche leider schon ausgebucht waren) in den Vorjahren bekamen. Nach ein paar ungenießbaren Frühstücks-Kaffees beim Automaten bemerkten wir endlich, dass das Personal auf Anfrage einen guten Kaffee nach Wunsch an der Espressomaschine hinten an der Bar kostenfrei anfertigt. Hier möchten wir betonen dass das Personal allgemein sehr freundlich war.

Zimmer ist okay, aber Personal und Essen nicht

Alles begann beim Check-In, das Personal unfreundlich und wir mussten erst einmal 2 Stunden warten bis das Zimmer fertig war. Danach versuchten wir einzuchecken was sehr schwierig war, da das Personal kein Deutsch und auch nur sehr schlecht Englisch konnte. Was man in einem Tourismus-Ort eigentlich erwarten dürfte. Die Zimmer sind für junge Menschen in Ordnung, da alles sehr eng und zum Zweck ausgerichtet ist, aber alles war sauber! Die Terasse war auch praktisch da man am Nachmittag dort die eine oder andere Stunde in den Liegen verbringen konnte auch wenn man nur auf die gegenüberliegende Hauswand sehen konnte. Nun zum Essen....Das Frühstück an sich ist in Ordnung, ist zwar immer das gleiche aber was sollss. Wir hätten eigentlich mit Vollpension gebucht, doch nach dem ersten Mittag- und Abendessen haben wir es abbestellt. Habe noch nie etwas so ekelhaftes in einem Hotel gegessen. Bei der "Thunfisch-Lasagne" fand mein Freund einen Zahn in seinem Essen, nach diesem Fund und nach dem lauwarmen und fettigem Schnitzel ohne Beilagen bestellten wir das Mittag- und Abendessen ab. Man muss hervorheben dass das Küchpersonal bzw. die Kellner wirklich freundlich sind und um die Zufriedenheit der Kunden bemüht sind. An diesen Personen sollten sich die Rezeption Damen ein Beispiel nehmen. Sollten wir nochmal nach Grado kommen. Dann definitiv nur in ein anderes Hotel, selbst bei diesem Preis darf man sich etwas erwarten.
