"Superb location, enabling us to walk to every place on our list and much more. Staff is helpful, kind, personable. The facility is rather lovely, well aged, but a bit tired. The room was spacious, and we particularly appreciated the solid oak and other wood furniture through the place. But the room was dark, making it hard to find a place to actually read anything printed. "

"Nice location and room in good condition. One minus is the temperature control is not effective in adjusting the room temperature. Small and slow elevator. However, the breakfast buffet is great."

"Special props to the very attentive staff. Not only did they respond to any request, but they did so immediately. This is a one of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was wonderful. The only issue was with some electrical problem affecting the thermostat in my room which was quickly addressed. Very central location and an easy place to experiuence the many charms of Zagreb."

"Location great, just off town center w many transit lines. Space good too, w high ceiling, clean walls, bright window, sizeable space. But as good place to unpack, wash up, sleep, all failed. Closet too small w cheap wired hangers couldn't even hold weight of coat. So didn't bother to unpack. Bathroom uses shower curtain (!), sticks to body, too short so whole floor gets wet. And sink so small that my 11inch tablet is bigger than its bottom. And not even a place to hang towel! Full sized mattress is 6 inches and way beyond its prime, so you sink below bedframe, making really uncomfy sleep. Bar counter way too high at 4 feet, and stools w less paddings than my laptop bag way too hard that in 10 min your bottom will scream murder. Have to take 2 stars off for all these. Another star off for irresponsive owner. Didn't reply to any of my messages. All these a shame as everything is easily fixable. Hopefully owner will improve, as could easily be 5 stars. Note, this is for the smaller of two units."
