"The hotel is in the restored former headquarters of an insurance company. It has a grand entrance. (You may need the porter's help with luggage to get up the stairs). The bar is on an old classical style room which was great for cocktails. It is worth exploring the 1st floor. The rooms are modern, large and comfortable with nice bathrooms.
The hotel is downtown and very convenient for walking to see the town and sites. The staff service was excellent.
The breakfast provided a number of choices, but was, for Italy, slightly bland. (We may have been spoiled at some of the other hotels we stayed at). Otherwise the breakfast room is well appointed and again had excellent service.
