Great as Usual
Great as usual and met one of the staff at the property, lovely lady.
Very comfortable rooom. Private Kitchen was very good. Communal kitchen was very nice and tidy too. Would happily stay here again if in the area in the future.
Very clean and new hotel. Staff are extremely nice and helpful too.
There are even oven in the guest kitchen.
There are off road parking in front of the hotel
First time staying at the Briarcroft. Comfortable, spotlessly clean, lovely room and great facilities to be able to self-cater if you want. Will be the hotel of choice on future visits to Goole.
The family room was great.. very very spacious. Nice little kitchen.. which has everything you need ..
Main king bed was very comfortable.
Whole building is clean and well.looked after .
Only thing, which because I'm a lite sleeper . Family room is on bottom floor and you can hear everything from upstairs.
But great room overall
The Briarcroft Wayth Hotel is a small boutique hotel and great place to stay. Parking is easy to find, the sitting area is lovely. They provide a guest kitchen with refrigerator dishwasher sink, etc., as well as tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. The rooms are nice, although some are still under renovation. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only wish was that the mattress had a soft mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable. Other than that it was a great stay!
The hotel was in a good location for where I needed to be during my visit to Goole. The area was nice and quiet and felt safe. I received the access code to the front door and room ok the day before arrival as promised. I had a comfortable room which was clean and there were some helpful information notes in the room which I appreciated. The guest kitchen looked well equipped and was clean. I would be happy to stay at the Briarcroft hotel again during my next visit to Goole.
The room stunk of smoke, i know this isnt the hotels fault as there is signage to say non smoking room, but with being a non smoker this was very strong smell. Very well decorated and organised seen as this is a staffless hotel, bed was comfy, was disappointed in the shawer/shower pressure
Would stsy agsin
Easy to find. Lovely decoration and really comfy bed. Bathroom was being refurbished while I was there but it wasn’t in bad condition as it was. I didn’t get the breakfast but it looked nice. The kitchen area was great. The only issue I had was the code to get in the building and room. It didn’t accept my code, the WhatsApp answers quick and did try to help but I think it’s more to do with technique than anything else. I got locked out multiple times which was stressful as I was there trying to get ready for a wedding. It would be great if they did offer a normal key option (if someone popped in to check them in an hour a day even) especially for anyone older who doesn’t care for tech. I’m 32 and it was hard work. I would have paid more for a normal key to save me the hassle.
Good looking and clean environment. Soap only available for hand wash, no shower gel or body soap. Did have shampoo and conditioner. Old mattresses, wobbly, could hear the coil when turning. Radiator seems to be on a timer which we had no control of, so the room what cold at a certain time and it was a very cold winter night with plenty of snow in the morning. Contacted the team via whatsapp but only got a response the next morning when we’re getting ready to check out. Ok for 1 night but wouldn’t stay longer if I can’t control the room temperature.
A great location and great facilities.
The room was spotlessly clean.
The beds were comfortable.
Great to have the kitchen facilities.
The bathroom was nice.
The hotel information stated that there was a communal kitchen however we couldn’t find it. It wasn’t signposted. The room information stated there was a key for the kitchen in the room but we couldn’t find one. I messaged using the WhatsApp number provided and didn’t receive a response.
Although the information advertised a king size bed, double sofa bed and two singles, there was no bedding provided for the double so my son could use it and instead had to sleep on a single which was a shame as he is over 6ft tall!
When we arrived there was only half a toilet roll. I checked the bathroom cupboards and there were none available so we had to pop straight to the shop which wasn’t an ideal on a Sunday night after a 5 hour drive with two children.
We had a lovely stay here and was in a great location for visiting Yorkshire. Would recommend especially for a family of 5 which can sometimes be difficult to find rooms to stay.
