My recent stay was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in the past five years, spanning 18 different hotels. The only redeeming quality was the decent breakfast. Beyond that, the experience plummeted far below average. A prime example: we ran out of toilet paper and were told we either had to retrieve it ourselves from downstairs during a specific time window or wait for the next day's room service. This level of inconvenience is unacceptable. However, the most significant flaw is the hotel's misleading "non-smoking" policy. While smoking is prohibited indoors, it's permitted on balconies and downstairs. This meant that as a first-floor guest, or if a neighbor smoked, opening the window was impossible due to pervasive smoke. This issue was severely compounded by the complete lack of air conditioning during our stay, with temperatures soaring to a stifling 89°F (32°C). The combination made the room virtually uninhabitable. There are numerous other significant issues, but these alone are enough to warrant a strong recommendation: do not stay here.

The girl in the reception was extremely friendly and serviceminded. We wished that she could receive more friendly reactions from the restaurant next door, which she apparently never get from them when she wants to book a table for the hotel clients. They answered very rudely that they were fully booked. They were not because they did have a table when we went in there ourselves. The hotel manager should go and talk to those people in the restaurant! It is bad PR when hotel clients hear their arrogance. Hope the girl gets credit for her friendly client attitude. After all, the restaurant needs the hotel clients!

It was noisy and not really clean there. The carpet was dirty and there were cobwebs. Surprisingly, there were noises of machines all night and, astonishingly, the sound of people moving furniture. I called the receptionist late at night and there was no explanation for the noises. I left earlier than I intended to stay. They could not propose an alternative room for the stay. I could not sleep there. And after that bad night, I did not want to have breakfast there. They did not even apologize when I left and I had to pay the full rate for the only night I stayed there. I would never go there again.

Renovierungsbedürftiges Hotel. Bad alt und nur Badewanne. Nach Frage eines Zimmers mit Dusche wurde uns ein miefiges Zimmer mit uraltem Teppichboden angeboten. Dann doch lieber das Zimmer mit Badewanne genommen. Frühstück nur Kaffee mit Warmhaltekanne. Entspach nicht den 4 Sternen mit denen geworben wurde. Bilder täuschen den Zustand des Hotels. Kann ich nicht empfehlen.

Habe das Hotel zum ,2.mal gebucht. Für mich war die Nähe zur Uni Klinik wichtig. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück hat reichlich Auswahl.
