We can’t say enough about our stay with Joanie and Petunia! Joanie is an amazing host! She doted on us like we were family. She went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergies. She entertained us with stories from her life’s journey. She was just a text away if we needed anything. Her home is beautiful! We can’t wait to stay there again! Our hostess, Joanie, is so special! Her care made our stay even better! Her home is lovely, very warm and inviting and IMMACULATE! Her breakfasts were fit for royalty! I highly recommend staying at this charming bed and breakfast. The hostess, Joan, was very friendly, helpul and accommodating. The inn is in a great location within walking distance of the downtown with views of the harbor. Parking is easy and the breakfast was very good.

We really enjoyed staying at this property and expecially enjoyed the hospitality of the owner. This is a beautiful, historic property within walking distance of downtown Gloucester. The owner served an outstanding breakfast each morning. We will stay at this B&B on our next visit to the area.

Wonderful private home with excellent hostess and full breakfast meals. Well worth the price. Owner had a fascinating history. The house had a great view of the water and was less than a block from a park and paved walkway along the water and into town. Highly recommended!

Our stay with Joan exceeded our expectations, from the proximity to the seaglass beach across the street, to the lovely easy walk along the water to the large state beach…the charming eclectic decor… enjoying Joan’s stories about her curated collections and whimsical finds..the lavish breakfasts & treats…it was a breath of fresh sea air combined with the best conversation & food & the treasure hunt for sea glass that made for an unforgettable weekend!
