Wow! What a well-kept grand old hotel. Jennifer Anne at the front desk was welcoming and very helpful. Everyone working here were pleasant I would recommend staying at this hotel.

The beautiful old hotel is wonderful! The rooms are clean and recently renovated with a large high ceiling lobby and a quaint little pub where we enjoyed our dinner on the patio with our puppy. Jennifer at the front desk was so friendly and informative, and Justin in the Park 29 restaurant was so personable and helpful. And it's walking distance from the main street in Glens Falls. We really enjoyed the Queensbury!

The breakfast was reasonable and good. It was near all the places I wanted to visit. They never heard of an upgraded room. The room was small. Bed was so uncomfortable I couldn't stay asleep. Bathroom toilet is for little kids. It's so low that it feels like your fallng before you reach it. Also ladies who like to dry well after urinating, watch your hand because the toilet water is very close! Will not go back.

You feel as though you are going to fall on the floor before reaching the bowl. Too low and hand hits the water while wiping! It's for a pre schooler.

The room was good but the toilet is typical to NY, very low and with the handle on the side which is not convenient. I wish bathroom had a fan and more hooks or shelves for the towels. We had a door to adjoining room and could hear the neighbor's kids crying at night and talking as if they were in our room. Otherwise, the hotel is ok with 2 restaurants on site and walkable to stores and other places.

The Staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful! The cleaning crew were fantastic! Delicious food and both the hotel's restaurants, and wonderful & quick wait staff! Around the property, we did notice quite a few homeless individuals, with police monitoring them.

They have a 2nd floor balcony space- very private quiet to read/have snacks. Great area . front space to close to check in and noisy. The room was extremely large and very clean. The one drawback- which may be a deal breaker for a summer return. No Outdoor space- we would like a rooftop lounge- outside- or a Park like setting with tables and chair to relax in open air. Insider area was great with cooler night air. But in the summertime - I would choose another place with an open outside common area to relax. Would Like a Kiosk- coffe bar- 24/7. Like a Starbucks like place. To get something on the rum. Vending machines available- but not fan- when on vacation- i want better breakfast. Off a "Buffet" would be a nice option also.

Our stay at the Q was nothing shy of perfect. The room, the food & drinks, the staff…were all exceptional! Our meals were the best we’ve experienced in a long time. Fenimore’s and Park 26 created some of the finest food & drinks! Kudos to the chef!

We just checked out from a lovely stay at this property and are planning on returning next year. It way exceeded our hopes/expectations, not knowing anything about Glens Falls or the history of the hotel. Fantastic staff - thank you to Jennifer at the front desk for her tips on attending opening night of the Balloon Fair, to Steven in the breakfast dining room for excellent and cheerful service every morning, and to Derek the bar manager at Fenimore's for making us feel like welcomed guests every night! (and the excellent cocktails) Beautifully updated property, big room (we had the double queen), perfect location for walking around town, and for access to the annual balloon fair. We ate all but one of our meals at the on-site restaurants - delicious! I wish we could take this hotel with us everywhere we go!

We love the Queensbury! We've stayed several times and the hotel is always so accommodating in giving us our favorite room. We enjoyed a delicious dinner outside at Park 26. The decor and ambiance is wonderful and the staff are always friendly and courteous. Parking is great and the hotel is conveniently situated to walk into town. The Queensbury is our first (only) choice when visiting the Lake George area.
