Great value place, exactly what we needed while we're flat hunting. It was clean, comfortable, and really handy for everywhere we needed to go. We had a little mix-up with extending our stay due to flat viewings but that happens sometimes. Although we mostly spent time out-and-about, Claremont House was a great place to return to after a long day exploring. It was easy to walk or take the bus to nearby locations. The room we had was nice and spacious. The hosts were lovely and showed much care in the interactions we had.

Very welcoming couple; the breakfast was fabulous and all the amenities were excellent. The lady owner is extremely nice and helpful and takes care to make nice breakfast each and every day. Highly recommended

Room was Excellent and very cleaned, owner provided everything and very Friendly & breakfast was decent. I would recommend others to stay and its very close to City Centre.

Breakfast offerings were not very good. Beans, toast and some fruit. The eggs were terrible. Lots of clutter throughout the place including giant televisions and a fridge, as well as lots of boxes and general stuff. Overall it was clean and quiet but could use some upkeep in terms of the food and also tidying up and removing clutter.

From the 1st minute we arrived we just knew we would not be staying, tried contacting staff, still no reply. It had books proping chairs up, dust upon dust no on site parking. Towels wrapped around toilet, smelt fostie. Stains on bedding. Shared bathroom which was not mention on booking.

The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfy. Tom and his wife are amazing hosts. They immediately made me feel welcome. You are not far from the Bellgrove Train Station probably a 10 minute walk. About 5 minutes away are shops and restaurants. It’s a 4 minute train ride to the Queen Street Station. The cathedral and necropolis are close by. Breakfast was wonderful. Scrambled eggs and toast with every kind of jam, yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins, cereal, orange juice coffee and tea it was quite nice! Highly recommended
