「We did not arrive until 11.30pm as we were stuck for 3 hours in traffic in switzerland and had no way of contacting the owner. She was wonderful as we thought we would be sleeping in the car that night, but she got out of bed and let us in. Following morning, breakfast was all home made and the owner accepted my sincere apologies for the late arrival. May be an idea that Expedia gives each other a phone number to ring if late as I had no access to email whilst driving. 」

「Lovely quiet setting with various farm animals in the back garden, but finding an evening meal can be a problem. We had left a message in the morning asking to eat in, but on arrival were told we had not given enough notice. We were directed very vaguely to a restaurant which was full because of a coach party. They sent us to another which was closed ( on a Friday evening!). They told us about another place, but as we were getting further and further away, we gave up and bought some food in a...
