Hotel is under renovation!

I arrived at the hotel only to be told that it is under renovation. I should have been told this in advance of my arrival. They put me up in an adjoining hotel - Banana Leaf, which was fine. In particular, I would like to mention Norman who went out of his way to provide exceptional service.

Sämsta boendet på ön!

Sämsta stället vi bott på under våra 6 veckor i Asien. De har en obefintlig service, otrevlig/taskig personal och fuskar med allt de kan. Av våra tre bokade nätter fick vi första natten bo på annat "hotell" där det kröp runt larver och kakellackor, natt två bodde vi på Rumah men ACn funkade inte och de skrattade bara åt problemet när vi nämde problemet. Natt tre fick vi byta rum till ett med fungerande AC. Dock fick någon annan vårat gamla rum utan AC vilket kändes väldigt dumt. Mitt råd är att inte bo på detta ställe! Och jag skulle vilja gå så långt att jag hoppas Hotels slutar samarbeta med dessa otrevliga typer. Däremot om ni mot förmodan ändå bokar detta boende så notera att det inte ligger där det är utnämnt på hotels hemsida utan mycket mer söder ut (går att finna om man söker på google Maps).

Basically, it's a fairly nice place (beautiful garden, no noise from the party and hot water for showering) but the people working there seems more interested in selling mushrooms and being stoned than providing a safe and friendly atmosphere. Wouldn't go here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Value for money, but far from 5 star

Cheapest on gili T with a/c, hot water and breakfast included. Comfortable enough for 2 people, and not far from town and beach. Cons were, bed was really noisy, drinking water not supplied although website said it was, soaps and toiletries not supplied. Power on the island dropped twice in our stay so if you pay for a/c you still may not have it if luck isn't on your side.

God betjening som er behjelpelig med alt. Ville uten tvil reist tilbake på samme plass. Vi ble en dag ekstra enn det som var planlagt.

Cauchemar, punaises de lits !!

Chambre sombre, mais correcte à première vue, la télé satellite ne fonctionnait pas. Première nuit sans trop de tracas. Deuxième nuit, au réveil, plusieurs taches de sang frais sur la couverture, au moins une cinquantaine de piqûres sur la jambe gauche de ma femme. Il y a des punaises de lit, ce qui est confirmé par un médecin dans une clinique médicale non loin. On demande à changer de chambre, on doit mettre de l'insecticide dans tous nos bagages, vêtements et effets personnels, un vrai cauchemar. L’hôtel était complet, on nous a relogé dans un hôtel tout près. La chambre est vieillotte et désuète, mais semble propre et l'air climatisé fonctionne. On accepte, on se rencontre que la chambre vaut 23$ sur internet alors que notre hôtel d'origine coûtait 50$ la nuit, déjà payée... Nous avons vérifié le lit et il ne semble pas y avoir d'insectes. Peu de temps après avoir pris possession de la chambre, nous avons tué 2 coquerelles (blattes) dans la salle de bain. Nous avons tout aspergé d'insecticide et trouvé 2 autres coquerelles. Bref une journée d'enfer, notre séjour a été gâché et nous avons peur de ramener des punaises chez nous... Nous avons écrit un courriel de plainte à Hotels.com qui est resté sans réponse 3 jours plus tard...

A beautifully modern hotel

We stayed at this hotel in late July as a family. Upon realising how close to the notorious Magaluf strip the hotel was, I was a little worried about it being too noisy and generally inappropriate for a stay with a child, but these worries were completely unnecessary! The hotel is beautifully decorated in a clean, modern style. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view from the balcony. The toiletries provided were generous and they were very accommodating for children, providing fun packs and kiddies wash bags. The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from Magaluf, but completely off track from party animals. Next door is the notorious Nikki Beach, always busy and playing music, but really respectful and contained. The overspill of music was actually quite enjoyable from poolside! The hotel attracts many visitors from all around Europe. Free towels are provided at the pool, however the enforcement of the "no reserving sunbeds" rule is a little lapse. We always managed to get a couple together, but sometimes had to hang around for a bit first. In terms of the hotel bar or restaurants, they have a lovely atmosphere, often with classy background entertainment like musicians. I personally felt that the hotel food and drinks were a little over priced, but there are plenty of other options near by for much cheaper. All in all, we had a fabulous stay here and if thoroughly recommend this hotel to couples and families.
