They go out of their way to take care of you and make a friend with you. Will do anything you need, just ask them. Great people, played guitar in the evenings. Was sad to leave! 「I had an absolutely amazing stay at Mandalika Cottage on Gili Trawangan! The location is perfect—close enough to walk to everything but tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet at night. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay: a fridge, drinking water, AC, and hot water. The breakfast was delicious and filling, setting me up perfectly for a day of exploring. Ela and the owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, going...

「SCAM. Nothing like pictures. Building area looked like a slum. Disgusting room. Previous flooding visible on the walls. No desk to talk to just a phone service where the so called manager promised a refund as we could not stay there. Weve found other honest operators on gili t, so cant get our money back but hope this serves as a warning. After speaking to locals we were told tgeyhave been scamming people for ages, so why are still on expedia??」

「The ad is misleading because it is not located on the beach - it is a 5 minute walk inland. You have to type in 'Joevanna Cottage' (with 2 n's) into Google Maps to find the correct location. Also, there are small ants in the room. It was only for one night so it was ok. The plus is that there was hot water for the shower.」
