The property is located in the most beautiful spot with incredible views of Mount Etna. The staff were incredible and extremely helpful. The hotel is easy to get to by taxi or train from the airport. The food was delicious and fresh. Would highly recommend!!

Excllent Holiday and Hotel Experience

Excellent small hotel with superb friendly and helpful staff, fantastic well maintained grounds and stunning view of Etna from the pool. Its clear they show pride in their hotel and this is reflected in everything about your stay. Would say a car is essential to het best of stay, although about 30 min walk to local train station which had good and regular connections to some of the local main tourist towns and airport.

What a gem of a hotel - It was very serene with an amazing pool area. The dinner was lovely and the staff were lovely. One of the front desk staff makes sandals to order (He was trained on Capri) so if you have enough time I would highly recommend that!

Property is pleasant. The staff makes every effort to help. The location is not good to say the least. It is in Giarre which is a town that does not warrant to be visited. All access roads to the hotel are narrow and full of potholes and other damages. Without a GPS you will never find it. Not the fault of the hotel but it makes a stay there more complex.

This is an oasis behind an automated gate that defies expectations from the street. Gorgeous rooms, beautiful grounds and exceptional restaurant. Don’t expect much from the Giarre neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. We regretted the rain that prevented us from using the beautiful pool. Easy access to Mt Etna.

The property itself was not bad the area around the property was a garbage dump. The staff was very accommodating. The rooms were clean the shower was about the size of a phone booth, and the beds were like sleeping on a stone tablet. The air conditioner worked great. But they could definitely be some improvements.

A hotel with a lot of potential but just failed to deliver on a number of levels: - service was disappointing, on check in advised the restaurant was not avaialble for guests as there was a private party with no apology - areas around the pool had not been cleared of previous guests drinks and snacks Hotel secreted on the edge of a housing estate, with sea view from balcong more like a view of hundreds of roof tops.

Vi hade fina dagar på hotellet. Gillade särskilt poolen som vi i princip hade för oss själva. Frukostbuffén var riktigt fin och du kunde även beställa varma rätter som ingick. Giarre som ort är ganska sömnig. Du behöver bil för att ta dig runt. Vi testade middagen på hotellet en kväll. Superfin mat men ingen barnmeny. Skulle tipsa om La Spiga som ligger 200m från hotellet om ni vill äta genuin italiensk mat.

Das Hotel sieht schon sehr schön aus, der Garten und der Pool war sehr gepflegt. Negativ war, das es keinen Kleiderschrank gab. Wir mussten uns 6 Kleiderbügel teilen und haben nur aus dem Koffer gelebt. Der angegebene Fernseher hatte nur italienische Programme, die deutschen Programme waren verschlüsselt. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, es gibt nur italienische … Leider habe ich mich durch die tollen Bilder und Bewertungen auf Instagram etc. Beeinflussen lassen. Der Kaffee (Tasse) zum Frühstück wurde serviert , leider auch erst als man mit dem Frühstück fast fertig war.

Un merveilleux séjour. L’hôtel est superbe, les chambres sont spacieuses. Le personnel est très agréable et les petit-déjeuners sympathiques. Pour le souper, le restaurant de l’hôtel est aussi fantastique. Je recommande chaudement cet établissement.

Gutes Hotel mit einem großen Pool und reichhaltigem Frühstück (nur Aufstriche - Marmelade und co war nicht vorhanden). Die Zimmer waren etwas hellhörig und unser „Standard Zimmer“ hatte keinen Balkon. Das Abendessen im Hotel war gut - es hatte jedoch eine Atmosphäre von „Fine dining“. In dem Ort kann man aber auch sehr gut und deutlich preiswerter Essen gehen. Prima Lage für Ausflüge zum Ätna oder nach Taormina.

Hotel bien placé

Hotel bien placé pour rayonner quelques jours dans le nord. les points positifs : - le petit-déjeuner délicieux, les filles au service super. - la grande et belle piscine - la tranquillité. Les négatifs : - ménage TRES mal fait. - aménagement de la chambre minimaliste, pas d armoire. - pas la possibilité de faire l'obscurité dans la chambre. Dès les lueurs de l'aube on y voit comme en plein jour. En plus notre chambre avait aussi sa porte vitrée (étrangement), du coup deux sources de lumière au petit matin. - Monsieur de la réception pas hyper professionnel. Accueil fait avachi dans son fauteuil durant tout son discours explicatif.

Sehr schön, aber...

Plus: sehr schöne Anlage, gepflegt, sauber, sowohl Zimmer als auch Pool. Gutes Restaurant. Extrem nettes Personal. Sehr schöner Poolbereich. Sehr gute Klimaanlage. Minus: - Umgebung sehr schmutzig; dafür kann das Hotel aber nicht - Zimmer ohne Schrank und Haken, also die ganze Zeit aus dem Koffer leben - sehr abgelegen, öffentlicher Transport quasi inexistent oder fast 3km entfernt; also ohne Mietwagen fast unmöglich - 2 Wochen die gleiche Restaurant- und Poolmusik - ein wöchentlicher Ruhetag des Restaurants, also in der Umgebung auswärts essen, was ohne Auto nicht einfach ist - relativ kleine Speisekarte; bei einem längeren Aufenthalt also mehrere Wiederholungen - Ortschaft Giarre, naja....

One can expect a high quality hotel and comfortable rooms when paying 250 euros/night. However, this hotel looks like in decay - a place that has not received much attention lately. Standard rooms had scratches all over the walls and furniture. Staff was sweet, but clearly working overtime. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The pool is the only positive side. Astonishing view to Mt. Etna.

Gem boutique hotel nestled on the flank of Mt Etna

Our stay at Ramo d'Aria was excellent from beginning to end. It is a small boutique hotel in a beautiful converted mansion. The pool area is large and super relaxing. The restaurant beautiful and everything is super well maintained. Christian from the front desk organized for us a private tour of the Etna and was super helpful in many occasions. We dined there and even though my children are picky eaters, we cleaned every single plate! We would return without a doubt.

All areas clean and well maintained. Incredible view of Mt. Etna while floating in the pool. Staff helpful without being intrusive, and patient with our extremely limited Italian. Renovated stone buildings give very relaxed and timeless ambience. Staff had great suggestions for tip notch dining, whether at Ramo or off-site. Also offered to connect us with a small group tour up Mt. Etna, which was first-rate.
