"This hundred plus year-old historical building has been beautifully renovated into a gorgeous hotel. An extremely pleasant surprise in rural Nebraska. The renovation was completed about a year ago and everything still feels extremely fresh and new. The rooms have very high ceilings, fantastic beds, and linens, and beautifully renovated bathrooms. I found this hotel through the map on Orbitz and I’m glad I did. I brought two work colleagues along so we created three room nights for the property. The big disappointment is that I received a piece of paper at the time of check-in explaining that I would not receive the complementary continental breakfast because I booked through a third-party. Being punished for using a system that helped me find them is ridiculous. I mentioned this to the front office manager when I checked out so they can hopefully modify their policy and not punish guests for finding them with very good marketing tools. The front desk, Clark, who checked us in was friendly and energetic and professional. The only other partial negative was that I was put in a first floor room and my window opened up to an alley which allowed anyone walking or driving through to look right into my room. Less than ideal, but the room was so nice. It almost made up for this. I would stay there again and request a higher floor."

"This was our second stay here and we love it. So cozy and quiet. Only thing we don’t like is they keep the AC turned off so when you arrive you have to turn it on and it takes about 3 hours for it to cool off inside. I really wish the owners would come and turn it on when they know guests are coming. Something small but still. Will still be staying here again."

"Quiet, clean room, comfortable beds. Good A/C, and it was 100 on arrival. Excellent breakfast choices - egg/meat/cheese muffins, breakfast burritos, or breakfast pot pies. Shower was hot, head mounted nicely higher for taller folks. Plenty of towels, washcloths, etc."
